该片讲述停住时间的男人和流逝时间的女人，往返于过去和现在的矛盾的故事，是往返于现代和三国时代的罗曼史奇幻惊悚题材。。Joe(黎耀祥飾)正與Susana在教堂行結婚儀式，Mike(劉青雲飾)這時闖入教堂，阻止兩人結婚，後來Mike夢醒，才知是夢。之後Mike工作沒精打采，被上司責罵，失戀之痛不能消解，他不停地打電話找Joe，但都沒回應。 Mike與Joe原來是一對同性戀人，因為Joe要與女人結婚，Mike心情大受打擊，一怒之下將他殺了。這時在Mike公司當臨時工的學生妹Angela(黃寶欣飾)，因為玩電話，竟打電話到Mike家，胡說知道Mike做了甚麼，Mike剛殺了人，心虛得很，對這電話大為震驚。這時Susana亦去Mike家，Mike又將她殺了，Angela又打電話來，說知道他做了很多事，Mike大驚，約Angela講數。 Angela與Mike見面，Mike動殺機。但原來Susana未死，她卻發現未婚夫死在身邊。Mike故意與Angela跳舞，Angela對他...。A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved.
