"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。男主陈墨在青龙镇吃百家饭长大，后入赘苏家村成为赘婿；五年前被逐出家门后意外与亲生父母重逢，被送往国外学习，现为陈氏集团继承人。又是一年中秋佳节，陈默为了妻子前往苏家村，刚好碰见妻子被逼成婚，霸气回归，解救妻子，惩治苏家，最终一家团圆。。一对经历丰富的警察搭档争分夺秒地从过去和假线索中寻找蛛丝马迹，以抓获一个以小女孩为犯罪对象的神秘连环杀手。。
