Only problem is in his state of mind he can't tell which one is right & which is wrong!。位于大阪的鸨屋蛟龙堂最早以药材批发起家，之后凭借秘方配制的药丸逐渐闻名远近。及至第二代，两名弟子互不服输，导致蛟龙堂分裂，两家当街对门经营，各以“元祖”和“本家”自居，暗斗多年。两年前，本家第三代当家善池喜一郎（遠藤要 饰）与元祖当家丸部长彦（忍成修吾 饰）发生争执，并用硫酸将对方毁容。悲剧过后，长彦头戴面具深锁阁楼，喜一郎则不知去向。某日，喜一郎的妹妹初惠（武井咲 饰）请来青年侦探金田一耕助（山下智久 饰）调查本家员工被跟踪的事件，后者却目睹长彦遭绑架并遇害的惊人一幕。绵亘两代的纷争仍在继续，金田一不得不努力揭开隐藏多年的谜题，而早已功成名就的名侦探明智小五郎（伊藤英明 饰）也化身记者，与金田一展开一场侦探的对决…… 本片根据芦边拓的原作改编。。
