富家女Laura在生日当晚回家后被神秘人强暴并撞伤后脑，成为躺在病床上的植物人。奶奶（罗兰饰）出重金希望抓到凶手。 大律师菜子（林熙蕾饰）一直被暴力倾向的男友强暴，由于法律不限制固定关系内的性行为，她一直无法起诉男友。无助的她只有求助心理医生海兰（黎姿饰）的治疗。 海兰早年受恩于Laura奶奶的资助得以去英国留学，并回港开诊所。知恩图报的她决定替奶奶抓到凶手，并带领自己的病人:Bond女（李菲饰）、pinky（张文慈饰）、阿moon（李婉华饰）以及菜子一同组成了一个调查小组，女人们决定用自己的力量将凶手找出来......。Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? Is it possible to justify mass destruction for the sake of higher “moral” ideals? The question remains as relevant today, as it was 80 years ago, and its urgency is tragically manifested in the current event...。
